Tragics Puzzle Hall Fundraising gig with Hebric

We're delighted to be playing another fundraiser for our spiritual home, (the soon to be with us again hurrah!) Puzzle Hall Inn. Get yourself down to the Hollins Mill on Friday 7th December at around 8pm. We'll be in the company of Hebric - check them out at if for some unimaginable reason you're unfamiliar!

New Look Tragics

Hello people,

Just to bring you up to speed ...After a period of what we'll call dynamic introspection featuring duo performances from Andy and Jim Tragic the full Tragics big band is back in business. The big news is ....the band has welcomed Jerry Fez Barker on bass and has a clutch of new songs to go with the tried and twisted old ones. If you would like to book us or you know someone who should be booking us let us know via the message function on the site here or call 07902 255215

Doghouse last night

Good to be playing once again as a full band..Steve Smith's first 'official' gig on bass you were awesome sir. We warmed things up nicely for the Wave Pictures - who were excellent. Someone was filming the event so we hope to be able to access this footage at some point soon, we'll see.

The Tragics Ride Again

It's been a long time - late last January our brilliant and much loved drummer Kev suffered a near fatal cerebral aneurysm just as we were about to get back on the gig front.  Very inconsiderate of him. But now with Kev on the mend and new bassist Steve Smith who is the only band member who can actually ride - albeit a motorbike - we're ready again for a few tunes. Should you wish to reacquaint yourself with our sounds there's plenty of material on the website - much of it downloadable at very friendly rates - expect a squawking clutch of new songs soon too. We return to live action with support to the amazing Wave Pictures at the Doghouse next Friday - that'll be Friday 30th October folks. Oddly enough that's exactly what we were about to do when Kev damn near departed this mortal coil, play support to the Wave Pictures at the Doghouse. Strange ol' world. Hope you can all make the gig, should be a belter.

Tragics at Doghouse Friday 6 February 2015

The Tragics are pleased to announce their first full band gig for an age and a day at the celebrated Doghouse Venue Arden Road. We will be supporting The Wave Pictures Would be great to see y'all there - and if you come you can get in appreciably cheaper (£5 as opposed to £7/6 just by the simple means of letting us know (message on facebook to band or to Andy Tragic/Jim Tragic  so we can put you on t'list.  More detalls to follow but get it in your diaries folks, it's been a long time, too long..

Trades Club AGAIN!

As the Tragics beast rides again in the valleys and hills it seems the Trades Club is its chosen haunt
- two gigs in two weeks, last night just Jim and Andy Tragic known informally as the Tragettes, and
at very short notice supporting the Blow Monkeys, an unlikely combination that worked pretty damn well.
Great night and thanks to those excellent folk who came down - great night. Will have some photos
and probably a vid or two shortly.

Trades Club Gig

The Tragics are finally back on their many several feet after a chaotic but lively thrash at the Hebden Bridge Trades Club.
Many thanks to all the dancing dervishes who made it a special late night show - have a look at at the pics on Photos page
- as our many headed beast continues to stagger into full health we will get more efficient and video events like this, for
the time being hope the photos give you a taste...
